Overview

Xavier University is a co-educational Jesuit, Catholic university located in Cincinnati, Ohio, USA. As the sixth-oldest Catholic and fourth-oldest Jesuit University in the nation, it includes the Bellarmine Chapel at the center of campus that residents and students can attend.
Xavier represents an institution of perfect balance. It is where challenging academics are enriched by a strong community of support and a city full of opportunity; where state-of-the-art facilities stand beside beautiful historic buildings; where enduring Jesuit, Catholic values are expressed via 21st-century methods; and where momentum springs from a rich, long heritage. Xavier provides an inclusive environment of open and free inquiry, preparing students for a world that is increasingly diverse, complex and interdependent. The power of X is what stands behind each Xavier student - a better education for a better world.
