Overview

The University of Findlay (UF) is a private university in Findlay, Ohio. It was affiliated with the Churches of God General Conference. UF has been unfailingly recognized as a “Best in the Midwest” college by The Princeton Review. UF ranks consistently in the top tier of U.S. News & World Report’s “America’s Best Colleges” in the Midwest and was also named to the “A+ Schools for B Students” list for the second year. UF has been recognized as one of “America’s Best Private Colleges” by Institutional Research and Evaluation Inc., an independent research organization specializing in higher education.
The University of Findlay is a flexible, forward-looking institution, accommodating students through classes held on weekdays, nights, weekends and over the Internet. Location & Facilities

The University of Findlay has more than 70 acres at the main campus on North Main Street, which includes academic, administrative and athletic buildings, eight residence halls, 19 townhouse units, 21 cottages and a number of facilities housing faculty and staff offices. The University offers more than 60 baccalaureate majors, along with seven master's degrees, a Doctor of Physical Therapy, and a Doctor of Pharmacy. Well-recognized programs include pre-veterinary medicine, equestrian studies, animal science, forensic science, physician assistant, occupational therapy, physical therapy, pharmacy, nuclear medicine technology, MBA and environmental, safety and health occupational health management. Internships and service learning are encouraged. Athletic involvement includes 24 NCAA Division II sports teams. Students may participate in any of 60 organizations, including special interest clubs, student media, student government, music and theater groups, service clubs, academic honorary organizations, spiritual life groups, and Greek sororities and fraternities.

Scholarships

Merit Scholarship: Awarded to new freshmen beginning in 2012-2013. Based on GPA and ACT/SAT test scores.
Five award levels:
Constitutional - $15,000 (with on-campus residency; $13,000 without campus residency)
Presidential - $13,000 (with on-campus residency; $11,000 without campus residency)
Freedom - $12,000 (with on-campus residency; $10,000 without campus residency)
Free Enterprise - $10,000 (with on-campus residency; $8,000 without campus residency)
Entrepreneur Grant - $8,000 (with on-campus residency; $6,000 without campus residency)
