Overview

St. Michael's College is a private institution that was founded in 1904. It has a total undergraduate enrollment of 1,971, its setting is suburban, and the campus size is 440 acres. It utilizes a semester-based academic calendar.Saint Michael's 2,000 undergraduate students come from 35 states and 16 countries. The college's highly credentialed faculty teach every class and are teacher-scholars who provide students individualized research opportunities in and out of the classroom. Situated just three miles outside of Burlington, Vermont's largest city and a perfect college town, Saint Michael's campus is located near unparalleled recreational opportunities in the Green Mountains and on Lake Champlain. It is located on 440-acre campus .

There are over 10,000 college students in town, attending Saint Mike’s, UVM, Champlain and Burlington College. St. Mike's students are committed to service, the environment and exploring the world through internships, faculty-student research and world travel. Housing is guaranteed for all four years on our scenic 440-acre campus overlooking the Green Mountains, located just minutes from downtown Burlington, Vermont. Internships and other experiential learning opportunities are embedded in a Saint Michael's education and result in satisfying careers in fields ranging from medicine to law to education to journalism, and high rates of graduate school acceptance.There are lots of opportunities for first-hand job experience at an internship in town.
