Overview

The University of Alberta is a research-intensive, innovative institution that attracts the best and brightest minds from around the world. The University of Alberta (Also known as U of A and UAlberta) is a public-funded research university. It was founded in 1908 by Alexander Cameron Rutherford, the first premier of Alberta, and Henry Marshall Tory, its first president. The University is a major economic driver in Alberta. Location & Facilities

The University of Alberta is located in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. It fosters a supportive and multicultural atmosphere within a vibrant research environment. The facilities include a wide range of recreational and sports facilities.
