There are several scholarships available to international students interested in pursuing their higher studies in the Netherlands. Briefly these are:

• China Program: The China Program focuses on excellent Chinese students who want to study or do research in the Netherlands for at least one academic year during or after their studies in China. The China Scholarship Council (CSC) is responsible for the Chinese part of the program and the pre-selection of candidates. Nuffic administrates the Dutch part of the scholarship program and is responsible for the final selection of the candidates who have been pre-selected by CSC.

• Erasmus: The Erasmus Program is part of the European Commission's Lifelong Learning Program for mobility of higher education in Europe. Erasmus aims to encourage cooperation between higher education institutions in the EU. You can use an Erasmus scholarship to do part of your studies or an internship in another EU country.

• MENA Scholarship Program: The MENA Scholarship Program offers around 120 scholarships a year to professionals. The scholarships are proportionally distributed among the participating countries. Ideally, half of the scholarships are allocated to female applicants. The MENA Scholarship Program offers around 120 scholarships a year to professionals. The scholarships can be used for selected short courses in the Netherlands.

• Netherlands Fellowship Program: The Netherlands Fellowship Programs (NFP) promotes capacity building within organizations in 62 countries by providing training and education through fellowships for professionals. The NFP is initiated and fully funded by the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs under the budget for development cooperation.
